Germany Tells the Same Sad Tale About Green Jobs as Spain
Here is the short version of a translated German report out of the think tank Rheinisch-Westfälisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (RWI). Money quote from the short version:
Intermittent energy sources are worse than useless.
So, of course we're spending billions of dollars to support wind and solar in this state and throughout the nation as part of the No Energy Economy.
- Green jobs created by government actions disappear as soon as government support is terminated, a lesson the German government and the green companies it supports are beginning to learn.
- Government aid for wind power is now three times the cost of conventional electricity.
Intermittent energy sources are worse than useless.
So, of course we're spending billions of dollars to support wind and solar in this state and throughout the nation as part of the No Energy Economy.

The Spanish green jobs study has been debunked and the so-called green jobs study is based on bad information. More information and the letter written to Representative Hastings can be found here: http://www.mnn.com/business/green-jobs/blogs/spanish-green-jobs-study-debunked#
Not debunked but merely questioned, Amy. That the Danish and German story is the same leads away from debunking. I will read Rep. Hasting's letter. Thanks for the comment. The link says the study is from an insignificant think tank with ties to the oil industry. It never bodes well to lead with ad hominem. I'll post on the so called debunking if it is worth the effort.
