Feminism is no different than any other special interest group. It cannot acknowledge progress (much less, success) or its raison d'etre goes away. Therefore, as genuine, perhaps warranted, changes (a/k/a progress) are achieved, it must seek more outlandish, more marginal, ostensible goals to justify its existence.

Couldn't agree more, and you see the exact same thing with the NAACP.
