Thought of the Day

Obama said, "We are the nation that put cars in driveways and computers in offices; the nation of Edison and the Wright brothers; of Google and Facebook."

And then the government outlawed Edison's great invention, made the Wright brothers' air travel insufferable, filed anti-trust charges against Microsoft and made cars too expensive to drive by prohibiting oil exploration, and right now -- at this very minute -- is desperately trying to regulate the Internet.

Which of Edison's inventions did the Government outlaw? How did the government make air travel insufferable? Microsoft? The Federal Judge said this about the company:

[Microsoft executives had] "proved, time and time again, to be inaccurate, misleading, evasive, and transparently false. ... Microsoft is a company with an institutional disdain for both the truth and for rules of law that lesser entities must respect. It is also a company whose senior management is not averse to offering specious testimony to support spurious defenses to claims of its wrongdoing."

The government has cars too expensive?

You know what I would really like to see is a cat fight between Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin.

Incandescent light bulb in 2014. TSA. She does a sleight of hand with Microsoft. It's google that was mentioned. Gas is too expensive, not cars. Me too. In fact I'd pay to see it. I envision something like the gypsy women fight in From Russia With Love.

I think I missed "To Russia with Love" in its entiety. Block Buster, here I come.
