Global warming...

This is the silliest piece of propaganda perhaps ever. Animals don't commit suicide. They don't have the intellectual capacity to despair. Not even the chimps.

How do I go about getting the rabbits and deer around my house to commit suicide. That would save my plants from a lot of stress, especially in winter.

Apparently all you need to do is drive your car and heat and cool your house. Eventually the animals will give up and off themselves. Who knew?

I'll agree that that was a really stupid ad. But there is significant evidence that Chimps do despair.

Really? I remember a Jane Goodall special where a chimp too tied to its mother got depressed (as we understand depression) after his mother's death and soon thereafter he died, but he didn't put a gun in his mouth or even a vine around his neck. What could be easier for a chimp than to 'fall' from a high tree? Doesn't happen, as far as I can tell. Still, let me know if I need to read more about our very distant cousins.
