Thought of the Day

Mrs. Palin may not know as much about the world as Mr. Biden does, but at least most of what she knows is true.

That's true. According to the truth-o-meter
(and ignoring "half-truths"), the governor is scoring 8 truths and 5 falsehoods to Biden's 13 truths and 12 falsehoods. Barack scores the best with 71/37, while "straight talk" McCain has the weakest grip on truth: 50 truths to 58 falsehoods. Not a Gradgrind amongst them!

Grangrind?

Of course because Governor Palin only knows Three things about the world--two of which are that her state borders Canada and is separated from Russia by a narrow strait--that makes it much easier for her to know true things. The one she missed? Gov. Palin believes th eworld was created in 4004 B.C.

T, you're the shrinking man. Every time you criticize Palin from your east coast prep school perch of superiority (with a touch of religious intolerance, you seem less a Mensch to me. Isn't this the time of year to reflect on what sort of person you've become?

Mark, Grade grind?

Rog,

Sorry if I wish my leaders to be better than I am in ways that I appreciate.
