This Day in the History of Reaching the Top of the Arc

On this day in 44 B.C., Cicero publicly turned on Marcus Antonius when he delivered his 'First Philippic' in the Roman Senate. There were fourteen in total. Thirteen years later, to the day, Octavian defeated MA at the battle of Actium. There's no real cause and effect there, but if you had to pick a time when MA's star was no longer rising, the First Philippic provides a convenient historical date.
