Of which [irrationalism] irrational religion is certainly a part. Dr. Gould, you left us all too soon.

Agreed. After he died there was no reason to get Natural History anymore. Religion is not necessarily irrational--it just deals with a very difficult subject.
Nothing wrong w/ religion per se.
Irrational religion, however, is always a source of tsurris.
