Short TV Post

The Wire on HBO ended its 5 year run with class, beauty and some emotional heft. Most people got their just deserts, while others were screwed and a few escaped what they had coming. Just as in life. As evidence of political thought pervading my every pore, all I ended up wondering about was why are the worst cities in America Democratic controlled (or in places like New York worse under Democrats than Republicans)? Food for thought, people. Even our fair city of Denver is in danger of sinking under an ever increasing sea of debt. There's hardly enough money to keep the roads in good repair. But I'm off topic. Best two moments were Slim Charles taking out Cheese and Michael becoming the new Omar. Circles within circles.

Now what do I watch?
