Nancy Pelosi and the Logan Act

I wondered when someone else (comment 9) would speculate about prosecution of the Speaker of the House under the Logan Act, 18 U.S.C. ยง 953 (2004), which makes it illegal for a citizen not authorized by the executive to practice diplomacy with a foreign nation. As I understand it, no one has ever been prosecuted under the Logan Act, and no one probably ever will.

I was just imagining, however, what the look on Pelosi's face would be during the perp walk, probably a mixture of outrage and the perpetual surprise she always has.

UPDATE: Robert Turner thinks the Logan Act should be enforced here as he stated at the Wall Street Journal online.
