The Start of the Dreaded Spring Offensive in Afghanistan

What was it that John Kerry used to say during his spectacularly unsuccessful campaign for President? Oh yea--Bring. It. On. What a panty waist poseur.

But apparently our troops and allies are deep into that sort of thinking for real against the Taliban resurgent in southern Afghanistan. We killed 41 Taliban redux types for the loss of no Americans and 6 Afghani policemen. We can keep up that sort of fight for a long time.

In addition, US-led forces killed six Taliban fighters in an air strike in eastern Afghanistan on Friday.

I keep hearing Robert De Niro in Cape Fear--"Come out, come out, where ever you are!" Yea, come out and fight, Taliban. You're doing well.

Comments:
I thought it was the president who said, "Bring 'em on!"

Both, but after Kerry said it to the Swiftboat vets he had later to say "Make. It. Stop." If you haven't noticed, I really don't like that guy.

I noticed. Again, maybe you should fire off a letter to the Times. Unfortunately, the Taliban is still in somewhere from whence they can come out.

I've noticed too. I can't stand him either.

Let me see if I got this straight: a gutless draft dodger can call someone who was wounded in combat a "panty waist". Is this a great country or what? Doesn't that statement sum up the entire Bush administration. Keep those $10.00 per month phone cards coming Roger. If you haven't noticed, I really don't like you.

Actually, Tolstoy nailed Roger more than 100 years ago.

" He who preaches war, - off with him in a special legion to the assault, to the attack, in front of everybody else." ...
"Oh, but they'd run away." said Dolly., "and only be a hinderence".
" and if they run put grapeshot behind them, or Cossacks with whips!" said the Prince."

Anna Karenina

Anon, I've noticed your unhappiness with me, but I think it's general to everything you do and I fee sorry for you. I signed up for the draft (I still have my draft card) but I was never drafted, so I'm a gutless draft dodger. When you say stupid things like that, no one takes you seriously. You might consider some medication. Best of luck to you. Good quotes from Tolstoy. I think AK was murdered in the end. What do you think?

Roger, I may be unhappy and I may need medication, but at least I didn't hide under the covers when my country called.

Anna committed suicide.
