Ramsey Clark Enters His Appearance for Saddam Hussein

Former Attorney General under President Johnson in the 1960s Ramsey Clark has gotten his wish and will serve on Saddam Hussein's defense team as the trial starts for real tomorrow. Clark is a barking moonbat, of course, whose recent resume (from Wikipedia) reads as follows:

Following his term he worked as a law professor and was active in the anti-Vietnam War movement. He visited North Vietnam in 1972. In 1974 he was the Democratic Party's candidate for the United States Senate from New York, losing to Jacob Javits.
More recently, Clark has become notorious for his outspoken political views. He has also provided legal counsel and advice to controversial figures in conflict with the US or
Western governments, including:
NORML Advisory Board during late 1970s and early 1980s
Branch Davidian leader David Koresh
Antiwar activist Father
Philip Berrigan
American Indian prisoner Leonard Peltier
Crimes of America conference in Teheran in 1980
Liberian political figure Charles Taylor during his 1985 fight against extradition from the United States to Liberia
Elizaphan Ntakirutimana, a leader of the Rwandan genocide
PLO leaders in a lawsuit brought by the family of Leon Klinghoffer, the wheelchair bound elderly tourist who was shot and tossed overboard from the hijacked Achille Lauro cruise ship by Palestinian terrorists in 1986
Camilo Mejia, a US soldier who deserted his post claiming he did not want any part of an "oil-driven war"
Slobodan Milosevic, former president of Yugoslavia and accused war criminal
In
December 2004, Clark went to Iraq to try to join the legal team defending Saddam Hussein before the Iraqi Special Tribunal, and now acts as an advisor to.
Clark is affiliated with
VoteToImpeach, an organization advocating the impeachment of President George W. Bush. He has been an opponent of both Gulf Wars. He is the founder of the International Action Center, which has much overlapping membership with the Workers' World Party. Clark and the IAC helped found the anti-war group ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism).

My question is whether this latest support of our enemy will get him a seat with Jimmy Carter at the Democrat convention in '08 or keep him out of the Carter box.

Roger,

Apologies for posting `off the subject` here, but I couldn`t see an email to send you this info.

There was a rather scarey and frank documentary on UK Tv this week on the Iraq situation.

It was "Dispatches" on Channel 4, Monday 21st November at 11pm.

1/3, this documentary showed the reality of everyday lfe and the real political situation which is going on that we do not see on our news reports, and why.

In order to maintain a semblance of control, US military have made deals with the Islamic groups. Sharia law is the only law in these areas, and women are now dressing in full Burka, because they have to. The populations in these areas were told who to vote for by the Mullahs in the `Democratic` elections.
The US is turning Iraq into its` worst nightmare, an Islamic state.

1 0f 3, 21st Nov, `The Reckoning` asks if democracy can prevail.

2 of 3, 22nd Nov, `America`s Secret Shame`, looks at attempts to suppress the casualty figures.

3 of 3, 23rd Nov, `Kidnap and Torture American Style`, looks at the detention and torture of suspected terrorists in foreign countries by the US.

I only managed to see the First documentary, which was extremely alarming.

I thought I would let you know about this seies of documentaries,as I know you may want to look at them on-line.

When the UK and the US finally do pull out of Iraq, they will have left one hell of a mess.
It is a disaster on a grand scale.

Anyway, check it out.
Apologies again for posting off the subject.

That's OK. I'll try to look for these films and get back to you with my impression. Off the cuff, I don't see the horror of a Muslim country acting like a Muslim country but I am aware of the horror Muslim beliefs can have on women and others. Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

Thanks to `Demonoid`, there is now a link to this set of documentaries for those who want to see it.

Pirate bay's bittorrent tracker

I hope I have successfully done that link properly.
If not....................

I`ll be back................!

Is "Pirate bay's bittorrent tracker" supposed to be some sort of link. Come back, Shane. Come back.

Okay, the link doesn`t work guys....

I am not too good with computer links, code and jargon.

However...
With your permission, Roger, I could name a site which has a working link.

It would all be very easy to find then, and all 3 of the documentaries in the series would be easy to find, and watch.

I will need your permission to name the site on your blog Roger.
