Transparent Untruths
Amid the massive text of what I believe was a failed 'hail Mary pass' last night by President Obama are these two gems:
I'm reminded of the pledge he repeated on February 23, 2009, saying: "I've committed to going through our budget line by line to root out waste and inefficiency..."
And what was the result of this effort to cut the budget deficit Obama expanded to nearly $2 Trillion? parturient montes, nascetur ridiculus mus
The Obama administration announced months ago, with some fanfare, that after combing for savings by all the cabinet members, it was going to save $102 Million. And what part is that savings compared to the just the deficit spending component of the whole bloated-to-bursting federal budget Obama presented? Why it's a whopping .006%
Is that the sort of savings we can expect from the Obama administration's 'line by line' analysis of Medicare and Medicaid fraud and waste? Of course. Is that enough to fund the plan for more than a few seconds? Of course not.
Does he really think we are so dumb as to swallow whole the transparent lies quoted above?

President Obama Has More Transparent Untruths About Energy Tax
In the past, I have jumped on the band wagon of those who have noticed that not only does President Obama say things that are not true, he says things that are clearly and easily seen as untrue, transparently untrue. He continues to do so.
Here he was at the dog and pony show press conference yesterday:
Second, "dangerous carbon emissions"? CO2? Necessary for life CO2? Coming out of every human at each and every breath CO2? It's dangerous?
Third, "contaminate the water we drink"? CO2? Contaminating the water we drink? Well, other than the carbolic acid in our soda cans and seltzer water, what the heck is he talking about?

At a time of great fiscal challenges, this legislation is paid for by the polluters who currently emit the dangerous carbon emissions that contaminate the water we drink and pollute the air we breathe.It is a target rich statement. First, no tax is paid by any corporations; they merely collect it for the government by passing it along to the consumers of the products of the corporations. President Obama is not unaware of this. Indeed here is what he said in January, 2008, about the cap and trade scheme/energy tax:
I know the press is still covering for him, but is he unaware that we have electronic records of what he has said in the past? Does he care that he's lying so transparently?Under my plan of a cap and trade system electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Businesses would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that cost onto consumers.

Transparently Untrue
The White House is denying that President Obama bowed to Saudi King Abdullah recently. Money quote:
"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. (Emphasis added).
You've seen the video. Is the anonymous White House staffer saying something that's transparently untrue? Also, have you seen this on any of the alphabet news networks? Really, not one? Is it really not worth talking about?
